The system of economics based on Expansion and the constant increase of production cannot work in the future. The universe may be infinite, but certainly not our planet Earth! The population of the people on earth cannot grow indefinitely. This means that a system that will produce more and more must clearly stop with the cessation of population growth. And population growth will stop because 1. There will not be enough space 2. As living standards increase, population growth decreases. At a certain stage, therefore, not only will the increase in population stop, but also a consequent decrease. However, this goes against the needs of an economy built on expansion and increased production! With a stagnant or even declining population, there will be a worldwide decline in sales. You will need fewer cars, washing machines, etc ..
Furthermore, the increase in the volume of money created from nothing, as is happening after the departure from the principle of the gold standard (ie currencies covered in whole or in part by gold), is unsustainable in the long run. With the uncontrolled huge increase in the amount of money, the adoption of the principle of huge state budget deficits by many states and attacks on the very essence of trust in money (attacks on bank secrecy, constant suspicion and demands for proving the origin of money from institutions that have no right to ask). certainly to the collapse of such a financial system with unpredictable consequences. Because it is a huge system that has great inertia, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to predict when such a collapse will occur. It is similarly difficult to estimate what will cause such a fall in the world.
What about all this?
From an economic point of view, it would be appropriate to divide the countries into several trading groups (preferably in a balanced way), which would trade with each other and at the same time compete with each other.
It is necessary to learn from the time of the division of the world into East and West, when the world economies developed relatively well in a gradual, long-term and, above all, stable. After the collapse of the CMEA, the USA has become a world hegemon, but the economy is going from problem to market.
It will probably be necessary to divide the world and perhaps artificially into balanced trading blocs - which will compete with each other on a trade level, because capitalism does not work without it, and it is difficult to imagine a different and functional system of world functioning in the next fifty years.
It is also necessary to divide production into:
production for the purpose of need
and for production for consumption!
